I originally chose Justin and Amanda to be my photographers for my wedding based on their beautiful film photos and from the high recommendation from my wedding planner. After talking with Justin on the phone, I knew it was the perfect fit. Justin is hilarious and makes taking photos so fun. Justin and Amanda make you feel so comfortable, are so fun and easy to work with and they are also incredibly professional at the same time. We did both our engagement session and wedding photos with them and they are hands down the most AMAZING pictures I have ever seen. We loved working with The Happy Bloom for our engagement and wedding photos. I wanted to be Justin’s BFF from his very first email to my initial inquiry and spent the next 14 months asking him literally any and everything to prep for our big day. He was super patient with me throughout the process and was even better to work with in person! My husband and I are super awkward in photos (what do I do with my hands?!) but Justin put us both at ease and coached us through the entire process. On our wedding weekend Justin took the time to get to know our family and friends – all of our guests loved him which resulted in some really fun photos of the day! I also loved that Justin and Amanda were such an awesome team – they were able to communicate what needed to be done without even speaking which made the sometime painful process of bridal party, family photos, etc. such a breeze. On top of all of that, their photos are truly breathtaking. I wanted our wedding day captured in a beautiful, natural and timeless way and am so obsessed with how they turned out! Justin and Amanda were an absolute dream to work with for our destination wedding weekend. Right from the start, Justin took time to get to know our families and close friends and he had an ease about him – like he was one of our guests. He gave clear direction to our bridal party when necessary but was never pushy to get specific shots. He kept both my husband and I relaxed and most importantly – let us enjoy being present with each other on our big day. Receiving our pro photos in a few months will be icing on the cake but we already know we will love them since he did such a great job finding interesting backgrounds and capturing the special little details of our big day. I will start this off by saying that all of my Grandmother’s girlfriends refer to my wedding as the celeb wedding all because of the photos they saw done by The Happy Bloom.
Picking a wedding photographer was one of the hardest decisions for me to make out of them all. There is so much pressure put on picking the team who will capture the most important day of your life the exact way you want it to be captured and have no chance at a re-do. I loved their work from the get go but after our engagement session in 97 degree heat with 93% humidity, I thought to myself- no one can make that look good. When we got the photo’s back I was OVER THE MOON with how crisp and how beautiful they were. Justin and Amanda are such professionals and I could not have been happier with the way they were able to capture those moments that made our wedding day so special and signature to us. Trust me brides- these two are the real deal!

Justin & Amanda are a dynamic duo! As soon as we saw their website, we fell in love with their photography style. We loved their light, bright and airy aesthetic and the crispness of their film photographs. I’m a pretty awkward human being so I was dreading being in front of a camera for long periods of time and especially on my own, which is expected when you’re a bride, but Justin pumped up my ego and made me feel super comfortable and confident! All of the bridal party commented on loving working with them and how fun the process was! They are a joy to be around!
We had spied a picture on Instagram at our ceremony location that we adored and we sent the picture to Happy Bloom. We told them that we’d love pictures here if we could and they went above and beyond to find that location for us and get us access to it. And I’m glad because some of those pictures are our absolute favorite!! We also appreciated you always being on time, actually always early, and being happy and positive and calm during the day. You were always very professional and that was refreshing!

I was a destination bride and all of our communication was over email and Justin could not be warmer or more helpful. We felt very overwhelmed and out of our element, but they absolutely put us at ease. They instantly make you feel comfortable by just be conversational and encouraging and that calmed both me and my fiance’s nerves. Everyone feels awkward in front of the camera, but you can trust that they will get amazing shots. Honestly, you basically just have to show up and they will make you look beautiful!
