From Flutter Magazine:

“Sunshine, sea, and the sand. This wedding will sweep you away in coastal cool. The spirit of Alys Beach in Florida shines bright with heart-fluttering architecture and design, lush green landscapes, Southern charm, splendid white sand beaches, and delectable dining. The one-of-a-kind gulf coast community exudes “chic” and is the perfect place for Nicklaus and Sid’s intimate wedding weekend of festivity.”

From Sid (pictured on the left, above):

“We imagined a long vacation weekend for our guests, and the sheer setting of Alys inspired us to hone in on the simple pleasures of what a wedding should be – tasteful, personal and celebratory. We wanted to feature each of the properties’ dining experiences: Caliza, Piper’s Kitchen, Henry’s Truck, and Charlie’s Donuts. We additionally wanted to showcase some of the views that initially captured our hearts and inspired our itinerary, such as the welcoming champagne served on the Gulf Green, the bonfire and dinner served gulf side, the spectacular Caliza property, and strategically securing villas to position each of our guests in the architectural wonder of Alys Beach.”

From Nick (pictured on the right, below):

“Upon arrival to our first ever, face-to-face meeting in New York City, Sid knew there was something significant to document. Sid purchased each of us a leather journal from a small Soho accessory shop, Miansai, to document what would become our love story. Intermingled between the pages are love notes, dried flowers, handwritten itineraries, photographs, and sweet-nothings from our courtship. It went without saying that we would include our handwritten, personalized vows to each other within those pages.”

From Flutter Magazine:

“Much of the floral design was based on beautiful, natural simplicity, curated to compliment the style of Sid & Nick and the beauty of Alys Beach. White and green were the main colors with a slight touch of blue. A mixture of white hydrangea, garden roses and spray roses adorned a eucalyptus and Southern smilax garland at the dinner table. Sonoma chairs, vintage brass candlestick and taper candles, and natural linens, complimented the shoreside space and the entire tabletop.”

I’m Justin - a wedding photographer based in the Lowcountry, working throughout Charleston, Savannah, and wherever a great celebration takes us.

My work is rooted in storytelling with an editorial edge: romantic images that feel effortless, candid moments that never feel staged, and photographs that will still feel timeless decades from now.

Weddings move fast, and the best parts are rarely the perfectly planned ones — they’re the in-between moments. The quiet before the ceremony. The way someone reaches for your hand without thinking. The chaos and joy of the dance floor.

That’s what I’m always watching for.

Most days you’ll find me editing with Scout, Cullen, Max, and Bear at my feet, probably thinking about light, film, and how to make images feel the way a moment actually felt — not just how it looked.

I photograph weddings for couples who care about presence, style, and experience, and who want their day documented with intention… without turning it into a production.

You can expect a balance of timeless portraits, emotional storytelling, gentle direction when needed, and plenty of space for the day to unfold naturally.

I shoot primarily digital, with touches of 35mm film woven in for texture and a little extra soul. At the end of the day, my goal is simple:

To give you images that feel like your wedding felt.

If that resonates, I’d love to connect.
